THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God and constitutes His
completed and final revelation to man.
THE TRINITY
We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three Persons, God the Father, God the
Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus was fully God in human flesh, being fully God and fully man, yet committed no
sin. He died and rose physically for the redemption of all who will believe.
HUMANITY
We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and the central purpose of the
incarnation of Jesus Christ was to pay the penalty for man’s sin through His substitutionary death
on the cross and His resurrection from the dead in triumph over death and Satan.
THE ONLY WAY
We believe Jesus is the only Way and Provision for redemption and salvation.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe God, the Creator, is a loving and compassionate God who hears prayer, speaks
through His Holy Spirit, and intervenes for His people throughout history and still today.
CREATED IN GOD’S IMAGE
We believe the God of the Bible created the Earth and that humans, who are body, soul, and
spirit, are made in His image.
GENDER
We believe that our sexual identity as male or female is inscribed in us by God and Biblical
marriage as being the marital union of one man and one woman.
SALVATION
We believe salvation is a gift of God offered by His grace and mercy to all who believe through
faith and call on the name of Jesus Christ.
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
We believe the biblical foundation of Christian community is expressed in Jesus’ two great
commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all
your mind,” and, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matt. 22:37-40) Jesus perfectly demonstrated
the pattern: love for God and obedience to God’s Word acted out in love for others.
