Vice President
Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role at Aletheia, rooted in her academic background and professional experience. With a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, she has a strong foundation in analytical thinking, which she combines with her heart for education. Sarah’s time as both a tutor and a Director of Challenge B in Classical Conversations honed her skills in guiding students through the nuances of classical education.
Sarah was drawn to Aletheia and the Classical Charlotte Mason approach because of her deep commitment to meeting students where they are in the trivium. She values a hands-on, experiential learning process where students engage with material beyond the confines of a textbook. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes making education a dynamic journey of discovery, where students truly experience the richness of what they are learning.
Outside of the classroom, Sarah finds joy in outdoor activities with her family, diving into historical fiction, and delving into Precepts Bible studies. She’s also a self-proclaimed connoisseur of milkshakes and Dairy Queen Blizzards, savoring these simple pleasures with enthusiasm.
When it comes to her favorite scripture, Sarah reflects on the challenge of choosing just one, as God’s Word speaks uniquely in each season of life. However, 2 Corinthians 5:7, “Walk by faith, not by sight,” holds special meaning for her. This verse serves as a reminder of God’s unwavering presence and sovereign plan, even in the most challenging circumstances. Sarah encourages others to keep walking in faith, trusting that God is leading and walking beside them every step of the way.
