Christian Ethics
Keith Goad brings extensive theological training and years of teaching experience to Aletheia United Academy. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Religion and a Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty University, followed by a Master of Divinity and a Ph.D. in Theology and Patristics from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
His teaching experience spans a wide range of educational settings. Keith taught for six years at Dorothy Sayers Classical School and spent twelve years teaching online courses for Liberty University. He has also taught seminary courses at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Martin Bucer Seminary in Portugal, Lusaka Bible College in Zambia, and the Virginia Institute of Theology, where he taught for four years.
Keith’s experience at Dorothy Sayers helped solidify his conviction that classical education aligns with the way children develop and learn. He appreciates an approach to education that seeks not merely to impart knowledge but also to cultivate virtue, preparing students to become thoughtful and faithful people.
Outside the classroom, Keith enjoys playing and watching nearly any sport, spending time outdoors, working on outdoor projects, and playing card games with family and friends. Scripture is central to both his teaching and his life. He often returns to Romans 8 for encouragement and particularly enjoys studying the Gospel of Matthew, frequently drawing from whatever passage he is currently preaching.
