About Dusty Lynn

Dusty views teaching not as a job but as a calling—a chance to share the knowledge and experiences gained through a career that has been a profound blessing. Her work is a way to express gratitude for what the Lord has done in her life, and she brings this perspective into her role at Aletheia.

Dusty was drawn to Aletheia’s Classical Charlotte Mason approach because of its emphasis on nurturing students as whole persons—mind, body, and spirit. As a believer, she recognizes the importance of hearing and responding to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. She admires Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of empowering students to think freely and expand upon the foundational knowledge they gain. Dusty’s teaching goal is to create an environment where students can deepen their understanding of the physical world while also recognizing that true care extends beyond the physical. She encourages her students to seek the Spirit’s guidance to augment their knowledge and apply it in ways that reflect God’s presence with them.

In her personal life, Dusty’s greatest passion is communication. She is fascinated by languages, particularly Hebrew and American Sign Language, as well as learning to communicate authentically from her true identity. This journey has been deeply enriched by listening to teachers like Jamie Winship and Paul Young, who inspire her to embrace the beauty of who we are in Christ.

With graduate studies in natural health, Dusty finds wonder and awe in learning about how intricately the human body was created. She marvels at how nature holds so many of the resources for our physical well-being, a reflection of the Creator’s provision and brilliance.

Dusty’s favorite scripture passage is Ecclesiastes 4:9-12:  “Two are better than one…”

This passage resonates with her deeply, whether it speaks to the value of friendship, the bond of marriage, or the relationship with the Trinity. For Dusty, it is a reminder of the strength, support, and connection found in unity—with others and with God.
