Head of Student Support and Services
Jessica Reeve has spent much of her career helping students discover their potential, navigate important transitions, and grow into thoughtful, confident adults. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Education in Education and Human Development from George Washington University. She spent fourteen years as a school counselor serving middle and high school students and their families in Arlington County, Virginia.
Now based in Charlottesville, Jessica works as a Resident Licensed Professional Counselor and provides private therapy services. She also serves as a college consultant, helping high school students and their families approach the college process with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.
Jessica was drawn to classical Christian education because of its commitment to the whole person. She believes education should do more than prepare students academically; it should help them become curious, thoughtful, grounded, and engaged members of their communities. She values the classical emphasis on asking good questions, pursuing truth, and learning how to think rather than simply what to think. At Aletheia, she especially appreciates the combination of strong academics, character formation, and a community built on meaningful relationships.
When she is not working, Jessica enjoys art, particularly watercolor and lettering, as well as crafting with friends, traveling, and discovering new restaurants with her husband. She also loves watching her children play sports.
Philippians 2:3–4 is especially meaningful to Jessica. Its call to humility and to consider others’ interests reflects the heart of her work and relationships. She sees her role as an opportunity to encourage, support, and invest in others, helping them recognize their God-given potential while seeking to serve rather than to be recognized.
