Choir Teacher
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Secondary Education from Rollins College. Her academic background includes private training in voice and piano, vocal pedagogy, conducting, and music theory, equipping her with a strong foundation for music education.
Her teaching experience began in 2020 as a long-term substitute for The Geneva School, where she adapted the 7th–12th grade chorus curriculum to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. From 2020 to 2024, Stephanie taught general music for grades K–8 at The Ecclesial School. There, she developed the music curriculum, organized concerts and music events, coordinated field trips, and initiated an after-school choir program, fostering a vibrant and engaging music culture.
Stephanie discovered her passion for classical education while teaching at The Ecclesial School. She is drawn to the Christ-centered approach that nurtures the whole person—mind, body, and soul. Stephanie values how classical education seeks to form kingdom citizens who order their loves rightly and strive for excellence for God’s glory. Aletheia’s mission of integrating Christ into every subject and cultivating virtue resonates deeply with her heart as an educator.
Outside of teaching, Stephanie enjoys exploring God’s creation with her husband through hikes along Skyline Drive, watching sunsets, and discovering new places. She also loves reading books on music, theology, and Christian living.
Her favorite scripture passage, Matthew 6:25–34, reminds her to trust in God’s provision and rest in His faithfulness, especially when faced with worry or uncertainty about the future. It serves as a constant encouragement to place her trust in the Lord.
